The Johnstown Youth Athletic
Association is taking applications for the following Sports Commissioner
openings
1) Baseball
a.
This position will coordinate
the JYAA Baseball Program starting Spring of 2012
i. Responsible
for sign ups (utilizing the on-line Sports Logic system)
ii.
Coordinating Coaches for all
divisions
iii. Order
all uniforms
iv. Work
with local communities to set game schedules
v.
Order any necessary equipment
required to run the program
b. This
Position must be filled no later than February 1st 2012.
(January would be better)

Volleyball
a. This
position will coordinate the JYAA Volleyball Program starting Fall 2012
i.
Responsible for sign ups (utilizing the on-line Sports Logic system)
ii.
Coordinating Coaches for all divisions

v.
Order any necessary equipment
required to run the program
b.
This position must be filled
no later than May 1st 2012
3) Assistant
Football
a.
This position will
assist in coordinate the JYAA Volleyball Program starting Fall 2012
i.
This Position will mirror
Football Commissioner for the 2012 season and take over the program in
2013.
b.
Learn the “ins and outs”
of the program and obtain all necessary contacts to make a smooth
transition for 2013
c. This
position must be filled no later than May 1st 2012
IT IS CRITICAL THAT WE HAVE A BASEBALL COMMISSIONER IN PLACE AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE. THIS POSITION MUST BE FILLED OR WE ARE IN JEOPARDY OF CANCELING
THE BASEBALL SEASON. THE PERSON OR PERSONS ACCEPTING THIS POSITION WILL
HAVE THE ASSISTANCE OF LAST YEARS COMMISSIONER AND BOARD MEMBERS TO MAKE
A SMOOTH TRANSITION. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

JYAA Winter Sports Signups
JYAA sports signups
are now online. Player "sign
ups" for every program JYAA offers, starting winter sign
ups 2011, will now be made exclusively
through Sports Logics
on-line registration. Gone are the days of rushing around to get to sign
ups, registration can now be done from the comfort of your home.

JYAA is now using an email list (JYAANews)
to send out emails from our organization. Starting August 4, JYAA
will exclusively use the subscription list to send emails. So if
you would like to continue receiving emails from JYAA please subscribe
to the mailing list. Until that date you
may receive duplicate emails.
