JYAA Spring Soccer Interest
I am taking a poll to determine the amount of
interest for a spring soccer program. A number of people have
asked if JYAA was going to have spring soccer this year. In
addition, I am aware of a number of individuals who have played in
spring programs in other communities.
Once I have an idea of the age and number of
individuals that are interested, we can try to determine if the JYAA
resources may be utilized or if we will need to work with other nearby
communities. This decision will also dictate the cost. Any
program will most likely run concurrently with baseball and softball.
This will make finding space for practice and/or games a creative
process.
If you think your child may be interested in
playing soccer this spring, please provide their age and gender.

JYAA Volleyball Interest
JYAA is considering offering volleyball beginning
fall 2010. We have been approached by Licking Heights to play
against them and possibly Granville. There will be two divisions,
Junior (3rd - 4th grade) and Senior (5th - 6th grade). Both
divisions will be co-ed. Please contact Paul Garland at

JYAA Board Seeking Volunteers
The JYAA Board of Directors is seeking volunteers
to fill the following positions in the youth league:
1) Concession Stand Manager (Baseball / Softball
Season only)
2) Concession Stand Assistant Manager (Baseball /
Softball Season only) need at least 3 volunteers.
3) Fundraising Chairperson.
All interested parties need to contact any JYAA

10-0-3.
